A temporary agreement neither could keep…

Brainy, organized Sophie Birch is no beach bunny. In fact, she’s totally out of her element among the sun-bronzed crowd at a film festival in beautiful White Strand Cove. When a surf lesson introduces her to Zane Hollander, suddenly she's up close and personal with the world's sexiest surf star. But what can a great-looking, experienced athlete possibly see in a klutzy out-of-towner who’s never set foot in the ocean?

Zane Hollander's playboy reputation has never been a problem…until recently. Now his management team wants him on his best behavior to entice a meaningful new sponsor. Sophie Birch is the perfect girl to help reform his image. She's genuine and respected—and their relationship is purely fictional. But the more Sophie blooms under the beachy sun, the more Zane knows he'll just break her heart. Because nothing's more important to Zane than following the tide.

Review

I loved this book from the very start! Robin Bielman's Bliss novels just doesn't fail to please me :)

"Boundaries don't work for me."

I tweeted Robin right as I finished Chapter 3 telling her I wanted to be Sophie. I mean, who wouldn't want to be in her place when Zane was giving her all that attention? Zane was surf god personified. He was all kinds of hot and sexy rolled into one package. I thoroughly enjoyed Sophie's blushing whenever he was near. Zane knew it, too, so he kept teasing her. I mean, could it get any better than that?

Zane was more than the playboy people thought he was. Hidden deep inside, he was sensitive and vulnerable. Sophie must had some a magic touch because she was able to get inside his head and figure him out. I just absolutely love this story!

One thing I found less than satisfactory about the book was the cliche side of romance novels. Zane didn't think he was good enough and he thought he knew what was best for Sophie, etc.

Other than that, I'm head over heels for this book. I was literally shedding a tear when I finished the book. It's so romantic! Maybe I'm just a sucker for stories like this, but I really enjoyed it. It reminded me of parts of my life I wish could end the same way that Sophie's did, like having a good friend like Honor.
