interview
Kayla: What has been your most popular book?

Donna: Oh, that's a hard one to answer.  I think it would probably be WICKED HIGHLANDER.  There were/are lots of Quinn fan's out there.

Kayla: What is one thing that you want to accomplish this year?

Donna: You mean besides meeting all the deadlines?  lol
I'd love to hit a list (i.e. USA Today or New York Times).  But that's something I want to accomplish every year. :D

Kayla: How have things went with your newest release?

Donna: They've gone great.  The fans are always so wonderful in posting messages on Facebook and twitter about the characters, not to mention the emails I get.  I love that!

Kayla: What was the process of writing Darkest Highlander like?

Donna: Like any book, there are easy/good days, and others that feel more like giving birth they're so difficult.  With so much going on in the book, not to mention the series, I had to keep constant notes so I would remember everything.  Each book in a long series gets more and more difficult with all the characters, villains, and different story lines going, sometimes all at the same time.

I couldn't wait to write Broc and Sonya's book.  I knew they were going to be special, and they didn't disappoint. :)

Kayla: When is your favorite time and place to write?

Donna: I tend to write the best in the mornings.  As for my favorite place to write - that would be my office.   My office is my haven, and apparently the cats and dog feel the same because they're always in there. lol

Kayla: Do you like physical books or e-books?

Donna: I personally prefer print books.  I understand why so many people like eBooks, but to me, there's just something special about a print book.  The smell of it, of actually turning the page. :)

  1. I'm sure it won't be long till you're hitting the bestselling lists! I like ebooks when traveling, but there's nothing like a good paperback . Great interview ladies!
